2. Alcohol:


Heavy consumption of alcohol may lead to constipation. If you drink alcohol regularly, it can increase the amount of fluids passed through your urine, building up dehydration. 3. Gluten-Containing Foods:


Wheat, rye, barley consists of gluten. Several people can face constipation for gluten contained foods, yet some are intolerant to this. This is known as celiac disease. When a person with this disease eats gluten, their gut gets harmed. So these people should refrain from eating gluten, and maintain a gluten-free food regime.

4. Processed Grains:


White pasta, rice, bread are all processed grains. These are less healthy than whole grains and can cause constipation. This happens because the bran of the grain is removed while processing. Normally, the bran contains fiber, the nutrient that adds wastes to the stool and helps it move forward. While some people gain high benefits of fiber, some do not. For those people, the fiber may worsen constipation, rather than relieve it.
